Catholic Bishops' Conference of Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei
EPISCOPAL SECRETARY
The constitution of the Catholic Bishops; Conference of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei states that all office bearers shall hold office for two years, and may be re-elected when their term expires. Office bearers shall be elected by absolute majority in a secret vote.
Episcopal Secretary
The role of the episcopal secretary are:
- to compose the agenda, and send it to all members at least two (2) months preceding the meeting.
- prepare an account of the Acts and Decrees of the Plenary Meeting of the Conference,
- to execute all the decisions and resolutions of the Conference.
- communicate to neighbouring Episcopal Conferences such Acts and documents.
- undertake the issuing of statements of news items of the Conference to the Catholic public.
- administer the Secretariat of the Conference.
